Non-urgent advice: Dr Kinniburgh Retirement

On the 27th March the practice will be saying a fond farewell to our much loved and longest serving GP Partner, Dr Kinniburgh, as she leaves to enjoy her well deserved retirement.

We would like to thank Dr Kinniburgh for her commitment to our patients, staff and practice over the past 31 years.

We will be welcoming our new GP Partner Dr Jill Busgeeth to the practice on 1st April

Non-urgent advice: Foundation Year 2 Doctor

We are delighted to announce that we have been approved as a training practice for FY2 Doctors. From December 2024 we look forward to trainees joining our team.

An FY2 Doctor has already worked for at least a year in hospital and as part of their second year of training have chosen to spend time in General Practice.

They are able to prescribe and take clinical responsibility for managing patients while taking guidance from a supervising GP.

Non-urgent advice: New NHS Service – Phio

Designed and supported by Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists, Phio is a clinically safe, digital musculoskeletal consultation product.


Non-urgent advice: Pharmacy First

NHS Pharmacy First Scotland is an NHS service provided by your local community pharmacy. 

If you have a minor illness, a pharmacy is the first place you should go for advice.

You do not usually need an appointment and you can go to any pharmacy.

A pharmacist, or a member of the pharmacy team, can give you advice and treatment (if you need it) for various minor illnesses and common clinical conditions. Please click the link below for conditions you can get help for.

Non-urgent advice: Private Surgery

If you are considering private surgery please note we do not prescribe medication or provide appointments for follow up blood monitoring etc. We recommend you research this before committing to having the procedure.
